    Gather up your stuff and get your Fall cleaning done! A community-wide garage sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017. Since the City does not offer a community permit, each homeowner will need to apply for their own. There is NO CHARGE. You can fill out the form on-line at http://fortworthtexas.gov/planninganddevelopment/permits/garage-sales or you can call the City at 817-392-2222. Reminders will be sent, so you won't miss out on this fun event!

    Please tell your neighbors because not everyone is signed up to receive these notices.

    The City of Fort Worth invites you to attend Arbor Day on November 3, 2017 at 11am. It is located at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge located at 9601 Fossil Ridge Road, Marsh Boardwalk Parking Loop.

  3. Shred it on America Recycles Day

    Event Starts: November 04, 2017

    9am to 1pm

    This year the City of Fort Worth is hosting the annual Shred Day event on Saturday, Nov. 4.It’s the one day a year where all residents can have items shredded, recycled and donated all for free.

    Please share this update with the members of your neighborhood association and friends.

    The event will be held rain or shine, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at La Grave Field, 301 N.E. Sixth St.

    Residents of Fort Worth and unincorporated Tarrant County, along with members of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Tarrant County can bring up to five boxes of personal documents.(Boxes should weigh no more than 40 pounds each.)

    Other items that can be dropped off include:

      • Electronics (computers, televisions and small appliances)
      • Household items such as furniture and clothing. No mattresses or large appliances.
      • No business waste please.

  6. Adopt Love - Shelter Pet Adoption Weekend

    May 5-7, 2017

    Every pet that comes through the doors of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter has a story — often one of being abandoned. More than 20,000 animals land at the shelter each year. Be a hero and help a homeless pet find their forever home. Adopt a shelter pet while saving the life of a dog or cat.

    Adoption fees for this weekend event are only $10. The adoption fee includes rabies vaccination, city license, micro-chip and altered (spay/neuter) services.

    The Cowboy Santas Toy Program distributes toys, games, and books to children from 0 to 12 years from low income households in Fort Worth and Tarrant County. The program alleviates the burden of parents in having to purchase gifts during the Christmas holiday. Their income can go to paying bills and buying food for their family.
