Citizen Reports Online

Citizens can now make reports online through the FWPD website. http://www.fortworthpd.com. The type of reports accepted online through this link would be reports for harassing phone calls, theft, identity theft, vandalism and lost property. Additionally, through that link you can find information regarding animals, code compliance and trash. The website northcops.com posts crime statistics for our beat (B-13).

New Online Service for the Public – “Police Search”

The Fort Worth Police Department is very proud to announce the release of a new feature available on our website that allows citizens and visitors the ability to obtain and view certain police reports.

This free service called, “Report Search” is intended to provide the public the ability to print reports using their own personal computers. Reports that are confidential by law, such as those sexual in nature or involving juveniles are not accessible.

To obtain a police report, the following is required:

  • The report number – and –
  • A valid email address
  • A date range
  • A Last name – and –
  • A valid email address

Users of this new service can bypass the need to contact the Police Records Division or the City of Fort Worth’s Records Management office if the report they need is available online; pending our internal approval process.
